Dick Pond Athletics, a running store in Carol Stream, Lisle, Schaumburg, St. Charles, and Carpentersville IL, will pay the sales tax for every customer in its stores April 15 through April 17.
Runners don't pay sales tax on race entry fees, but picking up the tab for something race related may turn a few heads - and attract more registrants.
