Making it difficult
A race printed an entry form with directions to return it, "as per instructions on the web site."
Why weren't those instructions printed on the entry form?
Don't make it difficult for runners to register for your race.
A registration form - whether printed or electronic - should ALWAYS instruct runners how to submit the form once it has been completed. Registrants should not have to go to another place to get that info.
