No child care
Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), in its Spring 2010 newsletter, advises races to NOT offer child care services to runners. It recommends, instead, to partner with a local, licensed child care provider, if these services are desired.
Be aware that many, many parents will not leave kids at a facility neither they nor their children have visited, even if it is operated by a well-known, highly regarded agency.
They do not consider "drop off" centers a responsible alternative to parental care.
