Microloans for running clubs
If your event is produced by a running club, check out the Microfinance program of Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). The not-for-profit organization will make loans to member clubs for the purchase of timing and other race equipment.
This may be the only way for some events to afford equipment that will help produce a better race.
