Honest results
Don't hide the number of finishers in your event. If a sponsor, organization, or runner really wants to know how many people crossed your finish line, they'll count the names (or the pages) in your results.
Be sure to include overall and age group results. Include each runner's first and last name, overall position, age group position, finishing time, exact age, and hometown.
Don't try to mask a small turnout (if that's what you are trying to do). Making it difficult to determine the number of finishers suggests you are trying to hide something (or fool a sponsor).
