Web site gripes

Lots of people rant about the inadequacies of web sites.  You can view an annual list of web site mistakes, find some constructive criticism, or learn about errors committed by charities, businesses, and not-for-profits.

One thing they all have in common is frustration - and amazement - with the lack of useful contact information on many sites.

Charities seem to be among the worst.  Some will let you register for the event, donate money, or volunteer your time, but won't let you contact them.

When there is a contact, it often appears in small print on one page (you have to search for it).  Sometimes, there is merely a form to complete which is sent to someone, someplace.  The office location is often kept secret.

Maybe they just think the web site is for their needs and not for the customers' (runners) needs.
