3.72 miles
The Toledo Roadrunners Club has added a 6k race (3.72 miles) to its Churchill's Half-Marathon, northwest Ohio's oldest running event.
The 41st running of the half, this weekend, features a flat, fast, certified course, three-deep awards in five year age groups up to 80 and over, and food, fruit, coffee, and sports drink.
The 6k, new this year, adds something different and slightly unusual. Although not an official distance for USATF record-keeping, it may be attractive to runners who have never raced that distance and want to stretch a 5k into something just a little bit longer.
