Four of the largest races in the Chicago area - Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8k, Chicago Distance Classic Half-Marathon, and Chicago Half-Marathon did not apply to become CARA Circuit races this year.
Runners often question the absence of popular races on Circuits sponsored by running organizations. Frequently, those races were not included because they did not ask to be included.
If you want your race entered on a Circuit or Series of events sponsored by a running organization, store, or other entity, contact that organization and ask how to apply.
You can also urge participants in your event to contact those organizations and urge it to add your event to its Circuit or Series.
