Disappearing races

Why don't calendars post recently held races?  Runners frequently need to look back at a previously held race to re-check a course map or obtain contact information.  Some organizations, like Chicago Area Runners Association, Indy Runners, and Badgerland Striders, maintain full calendars all year.  Others, like Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners, only post upcoming races.

Calendars that drop past races may post results but those don't include any contact information!  What if a runner wants to report an error, or collect an award.  Check out the results at Chicago Athlete magazine and you won't find contact information in any results (it's not the magazine's fault; it posts what the race give it).  Sometimes, results don't even list the town where the race was held.  This makes no sense.

Race directors should include contact information on all race results.  It will be helpful to runners, sponsors, community leaders, and anyone else who wants to contact the race.  Don't be invisible.  Make it easy to contact your race.
